The Canarian Muse of the Lingua Lux series embodies a presence shaped by wind, light, and ancestral memory — a quiet yet powerful dialogue between landscape and soul.
Inspired by the Canary Islands, this work reflects a place where nature is not still, but alive — where the wind carries stories across the ocean, and the land holds the imprint of time.
Here, the classical figure of Venus transforms into a Muse of remembrance — a guardian of cultural echoes and elemental forces. She stands between sea and volcano, between movement and grounding, embodying both fragility and endurance.
The subtle presence of the pintadera, integrated within the stone, connects the work to the ancient Guanche heritage — a symbol not of display, but of continuity. It reminds us that beneath the visible surface, deeper layers of identity and memory remain.
As part of the Lingua Lux constellation, this piece continues the exploration of language, culture, and symbolic archetypes — here expressed through the Spanish voice and the poetic language of wind and earth.
